Sherman Alexie has received the 2010 PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction for "War Dances," a collection of short stories and poems. Alexie's books include "Flight: a novel," "The Toughest Indian in the World," and "The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian,” which received the National Book Award for Young People's Literature in 2007.
