Neil Gaiman - author of "Coraline"

January 25 issue of "The New Yorker' features an interview with Neil Gaiman, author of "Coraline" and "The Graveyard Book." When Gaiman first approached an editor with a draft of "Coraline," he was told the story was too frightening for children. Finally published in 2002, the book spent 17 weeks on the bestseller list.
